Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team for a contract position in Indianapolis, IN. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Surgical Technologist to contribute to our surgical team and provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and other sterile supplies.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and maintain a sterile field throughout procedures.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of surgical specimens according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and safe patient care in the operating room.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Surgical Technologist in an operating room setting.
• Ability to work day shifts, with 10-hour shifts scheduled over 4 days per week.
• Willingness to participate in night call and weekend work shifts as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Contract Details:

This is a contract position with a duration of 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and client needs. The shift is day shift, with 10-hour shifts scheduled over 4 days per week. The position may require up to 1 night call per week and up to 1 weekend work shift per month.
